The Efiia Group Speaks at GTSC First Anniversary

Washington, DC - Chris Gorman, Managing Director of the Efiia Group and Co-Chair of the Government Technology and Services Coalition (GTSC) steering committee, had the opportunity to introduce and discuss GTSC during its first annual celebration. The event was also attended by well-known former government executives, such as Michael Chertoff, former Secretary of State, and Richard Skinner, former inspector general of DHS.

GTSC is a coalition representing small and mid-sized businesses working in the federal space. GTSC provides members with valuable information about federal regulations and also provides a venue for businesses to develop relationships and potential partnerships. "I was immediately drawn to its mission to develop a community of small and mid-sized companies that serve these missions," said Gorman. "We must fight to assure that the innovation and creativity of small and mid-sized entrepreneurs is not lost because of careless federal or congressional action, and we must assure that the missions of these agencies do not suffer because of the budget cuts."

The Efiia Group and GTSC look forward to another successful year representing small and mid-sized businesses working in the federal space. As budgets are cut across government agencies, members of the coalition will find great value in the support provided and the lessons learned.
